THE CAPTAIN OF THE LORDS ARMY
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the captain of the Lord’s great army. As the lord of hosts, God is the all powerful Ruler over the entire universe. All power and authority are His. He alone intervenes to provide victory for His people. He alone brings world peace. At the same time, he is available to hear the prayer of his people
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Revelation 19: 11-15
The lord of host is a wind, fire and water.
Psalm 147:15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly. Psa 147:16 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. Psa 147:17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? Psa 147:18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
If you can hold the water, if you can hold the wind, if you can hold the Fire then you can hold him.
Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! Isa 64:3 When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. Isaiah 64 :1-4
As of old in the wilderness, Joshua was joined by the captain of lord’s host to lead isreal the lord’s army.
Jos 5:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? Jos_5:14 And he said, nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? Jos 5:15 And the captain of the LORD’S host said unto Joshua, loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
By this three elements, the water, fire, and wind he overturns. Over turns every Evil counsel and judgment in your favour.
Job_12:15 Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth. Eze_21:27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.
Where it is buried the wind will blow it up, then the consuming fire burnt it to Ashes. By the reason of the rain water he Jesus the Lord’s Christ declare it in- active invalid impotent. Psalm 147:18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
who can say and decree a thing for it to come to pass if he the Lord of heaven have not declared it. I declare it is written no enchantment and divination against you shall stand. Num_23:23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, what hath God wrought!
He knows the end from the beginning. He is the driver of the vehicle of your destiny not you. Only step where he steps. He knows where the Marry clay is to avoid, He knows the quick Sandy traps and Places. He knows the pot holes and pit falls. He knows the mountains even before your progenitors i.e. your ancestors in your direct lineage step there.
Where the lord stepped before you, that is the roadmap to your comfort. what more do you want from him. He has given you the portion of your inheritance which is himself. Signed sealed and delivered, what do you want him to swear with? He cannot swear by himself again, because he swore by him self to Abraham our father. saying Gen_22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
In other words, in blessing I have blessed you. Therefore, In Abraham we are blessed with our generation after. He has crossed the T’s and dot the i’s, the doors are open unto us though there are many adversaries.
- He has licked up our enemies as The Man of War. He has licked them up.
- Towards the end of every journey in your life, the devil stays up there waiting for you to fall into error. But Jesus have suppressed every negative imagination that will counter this roadmap that leads to your comfort. Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
- Comfort is at your doorstep sit and rest until he makes your enemies your footstool. Peace be still and stay pure. Your purity will defend you.
- The enemy of your soul seeks to destroy your tomorrow’s anointing with your today’s private sin. The enemy of your tomorrow is seeking to take away your tomorrow’s public voices with your today’s secret sin.
- It takes a while for sin to take effect on your life. We wouldn’t sin if the consequences were paid immediately. Bible however advise us saying keep yourself from Idols little children. Idols will puncture your beautiful destiny. Therefore, keep your heart with all diligence because out of it are the issues of life. Jesus is the roadmap to your comfort he is the rewarder, keep your focus on him only.
